SOFTWARE DESCRIPTION
This is a software program that updates the BRHC-6316 series MediaStation with GGW-H20N drive by Hitachi LG Data Storage to version XJ04. 
This program was designed to provide the performance improvements described below.
Please read the directions below carefully to avoid problems during updating the firmware.

Update to firmware version XJ04

XJ03 to XJ04
Support for recording to BD-R discs and other new types of BD-R discs compliant with Blu-ray Disc Recordable Format Version 1.3.
Improved BD-R disc reading peformance

XJ02 to XJ03
Support for 2x writing speed to LTH (Low  to  High/Organic dye type) type BD-R (1-2x speed 25GB) media

XJ01 to XJ02
Fix for issue writing to certain Sony BD-R and BD-RE media
Improved writing quality with DVD+R media
Improved reading performance of DVD-RAM media


NOTES
The customer assumes all responsibility for firmware updates.
Any requests for repairs due to failed firmware updates are outside the scope of the warranty and will incur regular repair costs.
Updating to firmware version XJ04 will disable any changes made in the previous version.

UPDATE PROCEDURE
1. Extract the downloaded zip file.  Double-click the BRHC6316-XJ04.zip icon.
2. The update program and file showing the operating instructions are extracted to the "BRHC6316" folder.
Please double-click the "BRHC-6316_update.html" icon.
3. Step through the wizard to update the firmware.
